Art Leap, an “open studio event” featuring artists and guest artists, will offer 23 sites and feature 90 artists at studios and other locations in Hubbard and Becker counties the weekend of Sept. 24 and 25. The HCDAC Salvage Depot and Main DAC sites will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Come see the unveiling of a new mural by the artists of the Hubbard County Developmental Achievement Center at the Salvage depot. This activity was made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

The Hubbard County DAC is hosting Jill Odegaard for another great paper making workshop at the DAC Garage from Monday, August 1st through Wednesday August 3rd, 2022. There will be a morning session starting at 9AM and an afternoon session starting at 1PM. We will explore image making by using a “poured pulp” techniques. All are welcome to participate! This activity was made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Region 2 Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
